The owner of this awesome offshore fishing platform chose our Hitech Marine branch in Wangara WA to carry out a twin Mercry Outboard Repower to his pride & joy.
The results were outstanding, initial seawater tests saw the 5500kg hull push past 47 knots easily and use only 48 LPH combined at 3000rpm doing 18 knots.
At idle the Mercurys Verado`s were so quiet we had to double check to ensure they were actually running.
The engines are so quiet when traveling at 24 knots a normal conversation is easy without having to raise your voice.
