20 foot Bertram/Caribbean Repowered with a Mercruiser Fuel Injected V6 MPI Engine and Alpha 2 Sterndrive unit
- After many years of service the old Mercruiser 165hp inline 6cyl engine and drive were removed and replaced with a V6 Fuel injected engine and drive by Hitech Marine.
- The owner was so delighted with his decision to Repower with Hitech Marine, he sent us the following email
- "Achieved 42 knots (GPS) with full fuel tank and 2 sets of dive gear including 4 tanks. Fuel consumption is looking like about 20% better. She cruises at a very leisurely 21 knots at 2900 RPM running a 19" Vengeance propeller."
